I just returned from a mini holiday in Arizona where the skies were turquoise and the days were hot. There is something so therapeutic about lounging poolside among orange blossoms with a limoncello in hand. A reprieve from gray Seattle does wonders for my psyche and I returned energized and ready for my annual spring clean.  My first to-do item is 1) clean out my vanity and cabinet drawers. I remove all my make-up, skin care products, brushes, bottles, tins, etc. I give the drawers and cabinets a thorough once over and ready them for the products I will use over the next six months. Lining up all the products (make-up and skin care) I 2) check the expiration date. If it is past the expiration date, or you have had it longer then six months (mascara for example) discard it. Don't worry, if you can't find the expiration date or are unsure of a product simply bring it into the clinic and I can help you determine its healthiness. Remember, I always give a discount on new purchases when you bring in any bottle of any skin care products (not just mine). Next I 3) wash all my brushes in a gentle detergent (wool lite is perfect). Make sure they are thoroughly dried before re-storing. I then 4)make a list of all the new products I will need for the next six months. It usually looks like this: Mascara Lipstick and gloss One or two new brushes Cleanser Toner Lighter or heavier Cream (depending on travel plans) Seasonal Mask and Peel  Finally I 5) book my treatments for the season. This usually entails a lovely detoxifying body wrap (new treatment offered here at the Sorrento) and Limoncello di Bellezza©, my signature treatment.
